Today we made our way up to Madison, Wisconsin. Two days ago, Joe's mom came down to pick up their 17-month-old Ava and babysit her so that Joe & Holly could take part in the Conference, and we came up here to pick her up and have a place to rest & do some outreach for a few days.
It is absolutely beautiful here! Farms and crops and trees and barns! So different from Orange County! But according to Joe & Holly, who lived here before Tennessee, Madison is quite the hub for liberal, evolution-loving, God-hating thought. Outreach should be a blast!! ;)
This little stop off is going to be amazing God-timing as well! We are having some trouble with the brakes on the van, and it just so happens that Joe's dad is the manager of the service department at the local Ford dealer, so he will be able to take a look at it!
